Enjoy the quiet of Antrim Dells, a 6,670 yard championship 18 hole golf course located off U.S. 31 in Atwood, just 12 miles south of Charlevoix and 18 miles north of Elk Rapids on US 31. The Portage Lake Golf Club was established in 1903. One of the oldest courses in the state, it was transferred to Michigan Techin June of 1945. The University has invested over $750,000 in this course in the past 7 years. It is a point of pride for Michigan Tech and the community.
